Many of us experience the "job search blues" when things don't happen quickly.  By quickly, I mean we don't get calls from the job postings we apply for, we don't get asked to come for an interview and we don't get any follow-up after an interview.  This can be very disappointing....but this is NOT the time to slowdown.

I recommend you take a day off and get a perspective of what else you can be doing, such as: following up on your list of contacts that you did not talk with yet, research some new organizations, ask some of the people you admire to meet with you to get some fresh ideas for your job search, etc.   With a more positive approach, you might find that you get some good results!  

As a mature worker, plan on a job search of at least 6 months....it is not a simple process to get something that is a good fit for you and the organization.  Let me hear from you and send me your most useful websites so that we can share them with others....have a great weekend.
